| Description | Embrace Qatar’s heritage by traveling the North Qatar – passing thru Al Khor and enjoy the ecotourist activity to the Mangroves of Al Thakira. We provide a short educational talk about the mangrove ecosystem and how they survive the unforgiving temperatures of the peninsula. Moving forward we will visit the ancient Mosque, dates back of 80’s -90’s at Al Jassassiya. On the last stop will then visit the UNESCO heritage Site – Al Zubarra Fort – the first UNESCO site in the country get the have the chance to see this historic Qatari military fortress built under the oversight of Sheikh Abdullah bin Qassim Al Thani in 1938. |
